Rarely found, this brass heart once hung in the rafters of a church in France. It includes a handwritten note and prayer for soldiers heading off to war left by loved ones. They were also used in a religious event held in Boulogne, France in 1938. These ex Voto hearts adorned the basilica, where over 200,000 attendees celebrated over four days. Original paper prayer.
